Backflow is the unwanted reverse flow of contaminated or non-potable water into the potable water supply. The conditions which cause the reverse flow of water are referred to as backpressure and back-siphonage. A Crossconnection occurs at the point where the contaminated water comes in contact with the potable water supply. To prevent a cross connection from occurring a backflow prevention device correctly matched to the existing hazard must be installed prior to the point of a cross-connection.

Annual Testing

All Backflow Prevention devices are required to be tested and certified every 12 months. Grayson Plumbing and Drainage can provide all your testing and certification requirements, lodge all documentation with the relevant local authority and if required perform any maintenance or repairs.

For more information on backlow testing or install please visit our site at Grayson Plumbing & Drainage or view our brochure -
